We offer coaching sessions online via Zoom, by phone or, face to face (please note face to face appointments are very limited). One of our Autism/ADHD Specialist Coaches will work with you weekly to support and guide you in improving family life. All our coaches hold relevant qualifications and have first-hand personal experience of living with these conditions.
What is Coaching?
Our specialist coaching is designed for parents and carers of neurodivergent children and young people.
We are the only team of Specialist Coaches with relevant qualifications and first hand personal experience of living with Autism/ADHD and related conditions providing support in the Hertfordshire area.
We provide you with a confidential and professional service, with a healthy dose of parental experience thrown in. We are non-judgmental, supportive and adaptable, we want the plans and strategies to work for you and your situation. If something doesn’t work then we’ll try again.
In a nutshell – coaching moves you from where you are now to where you want to be.
How does Coaching work?
Our specialist coaches work with parents/carers of children and young people (CYP) up to age 25, to support their family, understand everyone’s individual needs and find ways to improve family communication and family dynamics.
Areas we support include:
Managing attention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity
Executive function challenges (e.g. planning, organisation, time management)
Emotional regulation and reducing anxiety or anger
Supporting sensory needs
Boosting self-esteem and independence
Encouraging self-care and life skills
Helping your child/young person reach their full potential
Our coaching sessions do not work with your children directly but can point you in the direction of further help.
Making a referral
Parents and carers can self-refer as private clients and pay for the sessions themselves. A report will not be issued. To make a private referral, please click here.
Parents and carers can be referred by a professional involved in their child or family’s care. This is often done by the child’s school or a family support worker who will also seek appropriate funding to cover the sessions. A report will be issued. To make a professional referral, please click here.
