Different Belongs - Ready to Use Assembly

The link opposite takes you to a PowerPoint slide pack with notes for teachers.  In the slides is a short quiz for groups of children to participate in and a short video clip with a poem.

Time guide: Around 20 minutes

The Poem

The children’s poem is the heart of this project.

You will hear the young writers:

    • Reading their own words
    • Sharing real experiences
    • Supported by images in a video

This helps bring neurodivergent voices into the space in an authentic way.

‘This was a great assembly because now I understand people who have Autism and ADHD.’

If you do use any of our resources we would love to hear your feedback.  Please complete this short feedback form here.
