ADD-vance turns 30!
In 1996, our founder, Anne Ross was given a diagnosis for her neurodivergent child. Like so many parents and carers, before and since, she left the room not knowing where to go next. Realising the lack of support out there for parents & carers of neurodivergent children, Anne decided to resolve the situation.
ADD-vance started as telephone support in Anne’s kitchen (our helpline number is the same number as it was 30 years ago!). As parents and carers found this support invaluable the idea grew to include support groups, training and coaching. Today we have a office in Hatfield that supports our trainers and coaches who work all over Hertfordshire and beyond.

Thir-tea Party
This year will be asking our supporters to host a ‘Thir-tea party’ in your home or at your place of work for your friends, family, colleagues and neighbours. A great way to get everyone together, drink tea, eat cake and support the work of ADD-vance.
Host your party any time across the year, or choose to hold it during Neurodiversity Celebration Week (16th – 20th March).

Can you do a fundraising event around the number 30?
To celebrate 30 years of ADD-vance, we are encouraging supporters to get creative with fundraising events inspired by the number 30. You could take on a 30-minute or 30-day challenge, bake 30 treats, run 30km or hold your own Thir-tea Party!
However you choose to get involved, every idea helps raise vital funds to support parents and carers of neurodivergent children and celebrate neurodiversity.
